This is the needle I use for all my hand applique. It s easy to thread. Fine enough for the most delicate fabrics yet strong enough so it won t bend. I even use them for my hand piecing. They are officially considered a Milliner Straw needle in a size 10. There are 15 needles in a convenient little case to keep right in your sewing basket.
